I started working when I was 18, in Xerox commercial department, providing support to sales teams. Later on I worked at Merck Sharp & Dohme where I developed projects and tasks of great responsibility, like managing international events, assisting the scientific research manager and setting up a quality procedure for clinical trials according to international guidelines, which nowadays can only be assigned to a medical consultant.
Until mid-2011 I was in charge of the APAVT [Portuguese Association of Travel Agents] training center. My main duties were training management, commercial management and recruitment and selection processes.
Along with several years of professional experience in a few companies, I have also given lectures and training all across the country in the areas of behavior and personal development. This is also an activity that I do with genuine dedication and, I should say, excellent results, as this gives me the chance to work along very different types of businesses and all hierarchical levels.
Late last year I was awarded the prize Trainer of the Year 2013, an award given by the First National Meeting of Trainers.
Right now my priority is to get back to a multinational environment, where I was "born and raised" and in which I feel like a "fish in the water". Notwithstanding management training is one of my main areas of interest, I also believe I could be a great asset to other teams and/or tasks, such as human resources, customer service, public relations and communication (including creative written contents).
I'm a people person! And a person of projects! I consider myself a good communicator (one to one and in public, orally or in writing), with a special gift to change and adaptation, and a personal ability to solve problems. This, along with an eclectic range of skills and an ethical and social responsibility profile, will make me a strong asset in organizations with high quality standards.
